The Practice of Truth -3.

DEAR MEMBERS A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR STUDENTS : -

At present, through out world one thing not seen is "TRUTH."

From top leaders in all sectors, politicians, to the present generation all over must aware the importance of the "TRUTH."

"AND PRACTICE THROUGH OUT THE LIFE....."


It is this final practice of the truth that will convert us into the Divine. But it is an absolute practice and it is not a practice that we can do in the ordinary way. It is a practice—no matter how we describe it—of total letting go, total renunciation, total surrender, and it is affirming that the ultimate Truth is That which we can never grasp, in anyway, with the mind. The scriptures declare that we are That. But they also declare that That is unknowable and unthinkable. So to practise the real truth, we have to exchange that which we think we are for the truth that is unknowable by the mind.

It is this practice that brings us to the peace that is beyond understanding. It is this practice that results in total humility. We are nothing, but paradoxically, we are everything. We have given up everything; we gain everything. We had confusion; now we have clarity. It comes through the practice of truth at all levels of our being.

To, All Members, Maharshi then read out from the Tamil version of 'Yoga Vasishta' the story of Deerga Tapasi who had two sons, Punya and Papa. After the death of the parents the younger one mourned the loss and the elder brother consoled him as follows : “Why do you mourn the loss of our parents? I shall tell you where they are; they are only within ourselves and are ourselves. For the life-current has passed through innumerable incarnations, births and deaths, pleasures and pains, etc., just as the water current in a river flows over rocks, pits, sands, elevations and depressions on its way, but still the current is unaffected. Again the pleasures and pains, births and deaths, are like undulations on the surface of seeming water in the mirage of the ego. The only reality is the Self from where the ego appears, and runs through thoughts which manifest themselves as the universe and in which the mothers and fathers, friends and relatives appear and disappear.
